When the data was analyzed, it was seen that socioeconomic conditions, the necessity of entering the working life, the idea of not being included in the academic staff, the time problem due to the working situation, not feeling themselves with sufficient knowledge and equipment for an academic career were found to be significantly influential in differentiating the thoughts of the pre-service teachers for graduate education. There was no notable difference in the opinion s of the participants in terms of their gender. As the class level increased, there was an augmentation in reluctance to ask for postgraduate education.
