Özet: The study aimed to provide information on games designed with QR codes. QR codes are becoming more prevalent in educational settings. The study focused on contributing to the literature on usage of QR codes in science education. In total, four games were designed with QR codes in line with the objectives of the unit “Solar System and Beyond: A Space Puzzle”. The games were played with groups formed by 28 students. The student group was composed of 19 males and 9 females. The students reported their views on the games on their science journals following each week’s game. Students’ reports on their journals revealed that students felt curious about the questions hidden in the QR codes. Students also had fun being exposed to the games through the QR codes. The study illustrated suggestions on the usage of QR codes in science education that can be helpful for researchers, practitioners and teachers.
