Özet: Despite comprehensive information on pregnancy prevention practices and contraception conducted by managers, public authorities and social workers in the education system in the Ivory Coast, the school is especially faced with the problem of pregnancy in high school. In the Ivory Coast, the gestation of girls in school age, in other words the problem of student-mothers, has reached alarming dimensions in terms of various institutional values ​​in society (especially family, education, politics, health). Because pregnancy causes students to prematurely leave the school, destabilizing their families from various angles (eg economic, moral, etc.), preventing women from integrating into the public sphere and causing abortions. The aim of the study is to present the determinants and consequences of pregnancies in the schools in the Ivory Coast, and solve them in a multidimensional way. In relation to this, a semi-structured interview form was applied during the study, the obtained data were collected and content analysis was performed on the collected data. The results of the study show that girls are the most important factors that increase the likelihood of conception because of their vulnerability to sexual assault, exposure to pressures and misinformation about sexuality. One can say that one of the most functional applications in the Ivory Coast that will have an impact on the problem of pregnancy in school is the integration of sexuality education with the school curriculum.
