Özet: The purpose of this research is to determine the opinions of science teachers regarding the use of interactive whiteboards. For this purpose, it was studied with 12 teachers that were 6 female and 6 male, worked at the schools in central districts of Konya. Data was collected with semi-structured interview form and content analysis was used. As a result of the research, it was seen that the teachers used the interactive whiteboards more to visualize the contents. Teachers emphasised on the positive aspects of the interactive whiteboards, such as saving time, making the class fun, and ensuring effective participation in the class. On the other hand, it was indicated that causing eye problems, occasionally being seen as a gaming tool and reducing students' habit of keeping notes were the negative aspects of interactive whiteboards. In addition, teachers found themselves inadequate in using interactive whiteboards Finally, the lack of technological infrastructure in the school has been identified as a problem affecting the use of interactive whiteboards.
