Özet: This study aims to determine the opinions of middle school eighth-grade students on STEM activities. Accordingly, with this purpose, STEM activity practices were carried out with students, and then students' opinions about the activities were received. Activities in the implementation process were selected within the scope of STEM fields and implemented within the framework of the engineering design process. In this study, qualitative research approach was used. The research group consists of a total of 50 eighth grade students studying in a state middle school in the 2018-2019 academic year. The study was carried out in nine-lesson hours in three weeks in The Applications of Science course. As a data collection tool in the study; “Activity Opinion Form” was used to reveal students' opinions about the activities. Written answers of the students to the Activity Opinion form were analyzed by content analysis, which is one of the qualitative analysis methods. As a result of the study, it was seen that the majority of students were successful in the activities and they participated in the activities with high motivation. Students; in general, have stated that their collaboration within the group led them to success. The students emphasized their willingness in the activities and stated that the activities are interesting and the designs of the activities are unique.
