Özet: The Mu'tazila school has served as a locomotive role for classifying theological problems in a systematic way and advocating faith based on a consistent style of reasoning. According to the beliefs of the Mutazila school of reward and punishment, the person will see either punishment or reward in the Hereafter. Since both situations seem impossible to unite on one person, they have gone to defend their positionby taking refuge in the theory they called Ehbat and Takfeer. In this sense, Ehbât is the disappearance of good deeds because of the excess of sins; whereas takfeeris the deletion of the sins because of the excess of good deeds. If the school of Mu'tazila did not defend this theory, he would face the problem of unrewarded good deeds and unpunished bad deeds. The acceptance of Mutazila scholars who claim that Allah's promise will definitely take place will be a contradiction in the theory of their defense. This study deals with the views of ehbat and takfeer that the Mutazila school described according to its theological understandings, the justifications for their possession of this theory and the evidence they stand for when they defend their views.
