Özet: Poetry is a widely used literary genre in which one expresses his/her feelings towards the person or community effectively. Poetry, as a literary art in all languages and cultures, is also an important literary element for Arabic society and language. It has maintained its importance from the pre-Islamic period to the present day. There are thousands of written Arabic divans; though some of them were examined, the others are still waiting to be examined. In the light of technological developments, thousands of couplet poems in the books have been transferred to digital media to be researched. One of the digital programs that contain thousands of poets’ divans is al-Mevsûʻatu’ş-Şiʻriyye. This program includes the divan of 2,300 poets from pre-Islamic period to the present. Divans are classified according to the periods and countries in which the poets lived. The program has a simple and convenient interface. The program language is Arabic and the number of menus is very few. Thus, it is very easy to use the program. In this study, the installation and usage of the program named al-Mevsûʻatu’ş-Şiʻriyye is explained with pictures. In addition, the content of the program is given in detail.
