Özet: Bu makalede sosyal medya ve iletişim kanallarının bir uzantısı olan itiraf siteleri ve bu siteleri kullanan bireylerin genel profillerinin belirlenmesi, paylaşılan içeriklerin sıklığının saptanması ve itirafların cinsiyet değişkeniyle ilişkileri ele alınacaktır. Bu doğrultuda yüz yüze iletişimin ne derece geri plana atıldığı ve itiraf sitelerinin yüz yüze iletişimi geri plana atmadaki etkilerini tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın teorik çerçevesini oluşturan Johan Huizinga’nın Oyun Teorisi, bireylerin belirli kurallar çerçevesinde kurdukları itiraf oyununu ele almada yardımcı olmaktadır. Bireyler, kuralları olan, tamamen gönüllü bu oyuna adapte olurken kendi benliklerini dışarıda bırakıp istedikleri benliğe bürünürler. Bu bağlamda yapılan itiraflar, bireylerin işini kolaylaştırarak yüz yüze iletişime olan gereksinimi azaltır. Bu teori çerçevesinde yabancıların itiraf siteleri aracılığıyla bir araya gelişleri açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır. ABSTRACT In this article, confession websites which are an additional part of social media and communication channels and the determination of the general profiles of the individuals who use these websites, detecting the frequency of the shared posts and these confessions’s relations depend on gender variety will be discussed. In this aspect it is aimed to determine how face to face communication is pushed into the background and the impacts of confession websites on making face to face communication lose it's significance. The Game theory of Johan Huizinga which constitutes the theoric perspective of this study helps to approach the confession game which established by individuals with specific rules. While individuals voluntarily adapting this game which has its own rules, they left their identities and they adapt another identity they would like to have. At this point, these confessions diminishes the need of face to face communication and make it easier for individuals to communicate. Within the framework of this theory, it will be explained how people who do not know each other come together through these confession websites.
