Özet: In this article, the Turkey-Taiwan relationship will be analyzed through its place in Turkey’s Asia-Pacific policy, where in the context of changes in Turkish foreign policy in the post-Cold War international environment, TurkeyTaiwan relations will be evaluated. Since Turkey’s policy towards Taiwan and mainland China, particularly in the Cold War era, was in parallel with the US’s regional policy, the US policy will also be dealt with. The situation in Taiwan-mainland China relations was a factor impacting Taiwan’s relations with many countries, and TaiwanTurkey relations were not an exception. Despite Turkey’s lack of expertise regarding Asia-Pacific region, the new international environment has opened new prospects for Turkey to be involved in Asia-Pacific affairs
