Özet: This study focuses on the scope and application of grammar teaching in foreign language teaching in general. General information is exemplified within the scope of grammar teaching in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language in particular. It is important to make the grammatical knowledge acquired in foreign language teaching permanent with effective methods and practices. The methods and exercises applied in the grammar teaching process play an important role in the success of foreign language teaching, which is a challenging process. Grammar games used in conjunction with traditional grammar exercises enable effective use of theoretical knowledge in the application phase. Therefore, grammar games used in foreign language lessons enable students to actively participate in the language learning process, making this challenging process more enjoyable and productive, and ensuring permanent learning. For this purpose, in the second part of the study, ten examples of grammar games that can be used while teaching grammar in foreign language teaching are included. These grammar games, which are prepared specifically for Russian, are also important in that they can be adapted to different languages by making some changes.
