Özet: Multiculturalism is a complex phenomenon in terms of theoretical, political and ideological aspects. Considering the interest from various fields and also considering the current context of the world, this concept also involves a sociological dimension affecting the intersocietal relations and happenings. Researchers studying the issue of multiculturality examines the possible problems and their possible solutions when two or more societies come together, and they aim to analyse the integration (fr. intégration) processes of these societies. There are many opinions asserting that sports, available in the agendas of almost all societies, may take upon an intermediary role to resolve the difficulties resulting from multiculturality and may bear some positive effects in the integration of different societies. The main objective of this study is to discuss whether sport activities have any effect in the integration of people from a certain culture into another culture. The issue is examined through the integration procedure of Pascal Nouma, a French of Cameroon descent, who had a career in sports in the past and then has integrated with the Turkish society after his sports career. Based on the subtitle analysis of a TV commercial titled Torku No.1: Babalar Günü Özel (Torku No. 1: Father’s Day Special) that stars Pascal Nouma in 2014, this study asserts that a person born and raised in a culture may integrate with another culture.
