Özet: By means of elucidating the suspended interdependence that is created by the language of the sacred in western philosophy through the contextual framework that Giorgio Agamben proposes via genealogy of political economy and archaeology of oath, one notices how the state of exception that appears as the paradox of the sovereignty in the first volume of Homo Sacer stems from the theological economy of salvation. While such an economy of redemption is founded along the lines of a liturgical and doxological tradition in which governing ensures sovereignty, it is the symbolic actualization of language which renders the economy of redemption effective. When it becomes evident that Agamben, who shows that the language of this symbolic economy, which is effective only exceptionally, subjects the ontology to the morality of duty in the form of voluntary imperative and at the expense of existence, gives also throughout this very language the example of a form of life that uses being in an another gesture then it also appears: that this example provides itself as the very possibility of the language to mis-use the political economy itself.
