Özet: Aim: Individuals' leisure time behaviors are shaped by the cultural value judgments that they are trained. In this study, recreation experiences and leisure time habits of Alewi people, which is a different culture in the context of belief, were examined and it was tried to determine whether there is cultural difference. Method: Literature review of the studies about the subject have been carried out and information about culture has been collected. In the study, 20 Alewi individuals living in the province of Hacıbektaş, which is the most important center of faith for Alewis, were selected as samples. Individuals selected with random sampling and they were first asked to inquire about their demographic characteristics. A scale adapted from the semi-structured interview form developed by Başkan and Karaküçük (2015) was used as data collection tool in the study. The scale questions were answered by face-to-face interview method and the information obtained was recorded in computer environment to prevent data loss. Findings: According to the Alevi culture, participants were invited to participate in festivals, participate in religious conversations, visit religious activities and worship. Conclusion: As a result of the study, there was no significant difference between the leisure time behaviors of individuals with Alevi culture and other cultural.
