Özet: The studies on the natural vegetation and vegetation structure in Thrace were carried out by different researchers in various periods and the structure of the natural cover of the region was shed light. The mountainous masses, which are one of the most important morphological structures of the area, and the content of the vegetation they cover, constitute the subject of the studies that contributed to the formation of the vegetation in the region. The northern part of the region remains within the European-Siberian flora region, while the areas in the south are mostly seen in the Mediterranean flora region. Although the inner part of Ergene basin is mentioned by some researchers as natural step area, it is stated that this image does not reflect this feature in terms of the amount of precipitation that occurs as a result of human destruction.
