Özet: In today's competitive business environment, human resources have an important place in the success of businesses. It is very important for the companies in the textile sector, which is a labor-intensive sector, to work with personnel who can best meet the requirements of the task in terms of the sustainability and competitiveness. Personnel selection process has an important role in bringing qualified human resources to the business. During the personnel selection process, firms have to choose among many candidates. Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods are used in personnel selection problems where there are multiple alternatives and criteria. The aim of this study is to select the most suitable engineer for a company in the textile industry using AHP and TOPSIS methods. In the study, eight alternative personnel candidates were evaluated according to seven criteria. AHP method was used to determine the weights of the criteria in the study. Criteria weights obtained by AHP method were used in TOPSIS method. The alternatives were ranked according to the TOPSIS method results and the most suitable candidate for the company was determined.
