Özet: The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between technology literacy levels and managerial powerfulness of school administrators. Within this framework is aimed to determine whether the level of technology literacy and managerial powerfulness of school administrators differ according to gender, age, seniority, type of school and educational status. This research was carried out with correlational survey method which is one of the quantitative research methods. The sampling of the study consists of 366 school administrators working in 25 districts on the European side of İstanbul province. In the study, the data were collected with “Technology Literacy Scale” and “Managerial Powerfulness Scale”. The data were analyzed with SPSS program. Results reveal that school administrators’ level of technological literacy was in medium level. Also, the level of their managerial powerfulness was in medium -level. Although the school administrators’ level of managerial powerfulness differed regarding age, professional seniority, educational status, and gender variables in the study, there was no relationship between technology literacy and managerial powerfulness. In order to increase school administrators’ levels of technological literacy, in training should be organized.
