Özet: Autism is an mystical disease which is described asemotionally and mentally going away or a separation from the otherindividuals and society life. In a long time, many of ideas has beenasserted concerned with the reasons of autism and threatment ways,however today it is accepted that autism occures from not only onereason but also many reasons. Autism has distinguishedcharacteristics likes all of the disabled groups, in addition to, there isno any agreement to be found both the reasons and the threatments ofautism.Today also it is accepted that considering with autism only from theview of medical approach means; the dimensions of autism areminimizing. The treatment programs, which are performing on autismare appropriate ınterdiciplinar approach. In the professional studieswith autistic children and their families, there are lots of differentprofessionals take tasks and get profit from different treatmentapproaches. Social worker is also one of these professionals whoworks with autistic child and his / her family and takes functional tasksin treatment process
