Özet: This study was, conducted with 182 preschool teachersattending seminars held for preschool teachers in the districts ofİstanbul and Ankara. The study was conducted with the aim ofestablishing the attitudes of preschool teachers mainstreamingconcerning of children with special educational needs with normalchildren.42.3 % of the teachers included in the study are graduates ofa four- year university program in the Department of ChildDevelopment and Education, where as 39.0 % are teachersgraduated from High Schools for Girls. 62.1 % of the teachers werenot able to provide a definition of a special education child. While67.1 % of teachers advocate the efficacy of applying integration, 30.3% claim not to prefer working with children in need of specialeducation. While 36.2 % worked with children in need of specialeducation they also stated to need assistance in meeting theeducational and training needs of these children. 32.2 % of teachersstate not to know where to turn to for help and advice concerningsuch perceived needs
