Özet: This study has conducted to determine the some sociodemographic characteristics and the relationship between thesecharacteristics and self-esteem and anxiety levels of the blind thatattend to Education and Cultural Center of Six Dot Blind Association.Socio-demographic characteristics of the blind differ according to sexand education status. There is linear relationship between educationand employment, but any relationship could not find between incomeand age. However, mean income of employed blind has found higherfrom both unemployed and retired. It has been observed that there isrelationship between education, employment and income status of theblind and self-esteem; but, it has not been found any relationship at thevariables of sex, age and marital status. There is not any relationshipbetween sex, age and income variables and state-trait anxiety; but,there is relationship between education, marital and employmentstatus and state-trait anxiety. Finally, it is found negative relationshipbetween self-esteem and anxiety of the blind
