Özet: Early education in special education is basic principle ofspecial education. Due this fact, when it is determined the child needspecial education and rehabilitation services by health andeducational boards, family must be informed about the child’s statusand they must be referred to the institutions that deliver specialeducation and rehabilitation services.Special education and rehabilitation agencies can not apart thefamilies of the special education and rehabilitation service users.Involvement of the families to the education and rehabilitationservices contributes the efficacy of the services and help to reach theresults as soon as possible.Within this study, importance of the family involvement in specialeducation and rehabilitation services is described
