Özet: What constitutes a significant part in the indicators of countries on health, education and economy is the disabled people’s levels of life and the quality of the services delivered to them. Disability is an important field of social work profession that aims to increase the welfare and life quality of the people who face difficulties in surviving in social life conditions. The increase in the number of the disabled people and the change of their needs have brought about an increase in studies in this field and also increased the variety of services. The changes in that field provided social work profession with a concentration on the studies oriented towards disability. This research focuses on the roles and functions of social workers working in special education and rehabilitation centres which are dependent on private sector; and tries to determine the problems of this field, give contribution to solutions, and determine the level of work satisfaction
