Özet: “Horticultural therapy “ is defined as the whole activities involve with plant, soil and natural elements to improve social, psychological and Physical adjustments of human well-being. These activities also are the important instruments for adults or children with mentally and physically disabilities, who are also cured in hospital or therapy centers. In the paper, as an instrument for therapy, the concept of horticultural therapy and its purposes and implementation tools have been examined. The study also investigated some samples from developed countries. The research showed that as an therapy method, the implementation areas of the horticultural therapy were school yards, greenhouses, homes or centers gardens which people living and working spaces
