Özet: History has been the subject of various discussions from the moment it started to gain its theoretical identity as a discipline. When I followed these discussions by limiting them to our country, the detail that I felt was lacking is the discipline of History was not discussed in the context of Epistemology. The fact that some topics such as the possibility, meaning, source, method, limit of knowledge discussed under the terms of Epistemology were not considered together with the discipline of History led me to think the History in an epistemological context. There are two main issues that I mostly focus in this discussion. The first issue consists of questioning the knowledge as what it is and its possibility, rather than analyzing it. The second issue consists of the part where I evaluate the discipline of History along with the inferences that I have obtained from these questionings.
