Özet: There are 26 free zones in Turkey. While many of these free zones operate actively with high volumes, some of them continue to have smaller transaction volumes. Free Zones in Turkey is important for various reasons. Differentiation of transaction volumes is due in Turkey's structure and its geographical position. Intercontinental Turkey's convenience while the logistics due to the current position in terms of various modes of transportation, transportation of raw materials can be performed easily. When we look at Gaziantep Free Zone, the advantages of this location are also observed. At the same time, it cannot be ruled out that the province of Gaziantep has made significant contributions to the national economy. In this article, the contribution of Gaziantep Free Zone to the economy of Gaziantep and the changes in the foreign trade between Gaziantep and 2014 - 2018 will be examined.
