Özet: This paper aims to examine the educational activities and publications of the scholar and pedagogue Ahmet Hadi Maksudi who is a prominent figure in KazanTatars. It further discusses his education, intellectual rise as well as the context and the publication policies of the Yıldız newspaper which is the most important and precious heritage he had left.
