Özet: This paper focuses on the poet of Nuri Pakdil. I highlight his main literary achievements. In particular, I focus on his life and how he inluenced others in the literary circles. I also discuss Nouri Pakdil as a poet and writer, bringing forth to the scene his literary Works and his ideological orientation. Finally, this paper particularly focuses on Nouri Pakdil’s “Jarusalem and Mothers” for wihch and analysis is given. This analysis shows how Pakdil intends to relate Jaruselam to the love that a mother has for child, in an attemt to send a message to people that Jarusalem must be treated just as a mother would treat her own child
