Özet: Muzaffer Tayyip Uslu, who lived between 1922 and 1946, has embraced the great poems that mirror the economy can cultural structure of the period to the short life span that corres ponds to the child hood of the new 'nation-state'. Muzaffer Tayyip Uslu brought a new breath to poetry during his life. Orhan Veli Kanık and his two friends made the pioneer of the Garip movement. According to the  Garip of movent ignore old patternand  with the new understanding of poetry that carries poetry to the life of the people on the street, he has taken the idea of "searching for people in poetry" as a vision and wrote poems in this direction. This study aims to analyze the socio-economic structure of the period in the context of Muzaffer Tayyip Uslu's themes in his poems.
