Özet: Ecological economics is able to cooperate with many different areas as a way of dealing with phenomena or able to get help from the methods of other branches of science. Therefore, the many approaches using different methods are welcomed in ecological economics. Although this situation prevents the emergence of certain methods in ecological economics, ecological economics exists in this way. In this study, ecological economics approaches which are affected by mainstream economics are discussed. The relations between these approaches and development, sustainability, importance of technology in sustainability and nature are examined.
