Özet: The cultures of the Yoruks, whose Turkish culture traces extending from Central Asia to Anatolia have been tried to examine food cultures together with their lifestyle in the Central Taurus in the 20th century. Just as lifestyle of the Yoruks have influenced all their lives; we see this reflection in kitchen structures. The research is based on the texts of some of the Yoruks who are living migrants in Gulnar, Anamur, Silifke, Aydıncık and Mut districts of the Central Taurus region of the Mediterranean Region. With this research it was aimed directly refer to the culinary culture of Yoruks who are living in the Central Taurus in Anatolia. The cultural structure of the Turks which brought from the past has been provided with an overview of the culinary cultures exposed by synchronizing with the lifestyles of the Yoruks in the Central Taurus. The nomadic life style caused the basic source of livelihood and accordingly the materials used of animal origin in kitchen.This research also examined how Yoruks expose themselves through their meals with the perspective to their culinary
