Özet: This research is conducted in order to determine the fishery consumption preferences in Ankara province. In this context, the related data were collected from 1181 people using face-to-face and electronic surveys. According to the results of the survey, participants’ frequency of fish consumption is as follows; 26.7% consume fish once every 15 days, 23.9% once a month and 19.0% once a week. 39.9% of participants consume fish for balanced and healthy nutrition and 42.7% of the participants purchase fish from supermarkets. Most of the participants (61,2%) think that prices of fish sales are high. 78.5% prefer hunted fish for their consumption. Fish is mostly consumed in winter 64.4%.
