Özet: It is known that planning function is very important in tourism enterprises. The planning function is a program for the enterprises to follow the next step. Tourism sector has a variable structure and uncertainties regarding tourism enterprises. In order to use these uncertainties in the interests of the enterprise, the enterprises make short, medium and long term plans. It is impossible for tourism enterprises to continue to exist in the sector without planning. It is known that tourism enterprises can minimize the problems that may occur by a working plan for internal environment and external environment elements. Therefore, the management function of the management is very important for tourism enterprises in the tourism sector as in every sector. In this study, literature research has been done regarding the importance of management's planning function for tourism enterprises.
