Özet: The intense climate of competition created by the global business environment has transformed business enterprises into research facilities in addition to being units that produce goods and services. Product and method development are important fields of research for these enterprises. Experimental studies, which occupy an important place in research activities, are an indispensable element for scientific institutions and business enterprises. However, these studies are activities that require much time, cost, and effort. Therefore, in order to be successful in experimental studies and to be able to carry out these studies efficiently, there is a need for correct experiment design. With the correct experiment design (Design Of Experiments, DOE), it is possible to obtain trial plans that optimize the useful data to be obtained from experiments with the minimum of experimentation. In this study,  evaluations were made of experimental design approaches and the methods of mixed experiment design, which is a special form of experimental design; and a mixed experiment design study was carried out at a printing ink manufacturer operating in Izmir. It was determined that as a result of the study there was a reduction in the number of experiments as well as the response time for customers.
