Özet: Today, it is very easy to reach the data and it is of great importance to obtain true useful information in the shortest time by using these data. Particularly, in decision-making analysis such as planning, risk management, information systems have very important place in making the right decision considering many criteria. In spatial data studies, spatial analysis using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are very effective in making the right decisions. Multi-criteria decision-making methods provide significant contributions, particularly when multiple factors affect the decision. In this study, the location of tent city, planned to be established in Suruç district, was determined by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method which is one of the multi-criteria decision making methods by considering various risk criteria. In this way, 5 parcels which are suitable for tent-city construction were determined in Suruç district and thus, choosing one of the only five parcels was enough to make the right decision.
