Özet: The definition of humanity is described in different individual and social contexts. However, semantic restriction, modifications, and shifts can be seen in all of these implementations. The context of our study consists of a choice of terms for the term humanity in the Qur'an and essential hadith sources, with equal, narrow, and opposite interpretations and the usage and inferences of the definition of humankind in humanity today. The concepts of "Humanism" and related concepts from the West that give rise to the idea of mankind are not entirely in line with the concept of humanity. Because humanity is closely linked to Islam in the same manner as human beings, this is a matter of importance in the Quran and the Hadiths. It is seen that in the meaning of humanity in these texts, the idea of "Humanity" plays a key role and is associated with Islam's purpose and program. The restructuring of the notion of "humanity" with the knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah would have beneficial implications and outcomes in many fields. In this article, the deconstructive understanding and its reflections on literary texts will first be discussed. Afterwards, Mehmet Kaplan's examination in "Poem Analyses 2", where he reflected his approach to Nazım Hikmet and the poem "Mechanization", will be handled in terms of the deconstructive understanding. Thus, Mehmet Kaplan's approach will be subjected to a deconstructive investigation.
