Özet: One of the 20 necropsied stray dogs in Kars city was found naturally infected with three adults of Alaria alata (Goeze, 1782). This is the first report of A. alata from dogs in Turkey. The parasites were measured 2.34 (2.27-2.40) mm in length and 1.46 (1.43-1.50) mm in width.
