Özet: In this study transferrin polymorphism was investigated in hair goat breeds raised in the Bursa region by using 148 blood samples of hair goat. The separation of transferrin types was carried out using horizontal starch-gel electrophoresis. The frequencies of transferrin alleles were calculated to be 0.54 ±0.029 and 0.46 ±0.029 for Tf A and Tf B , respectively. Differences between the expected and observed number of transferrin genotypes were insignificant.
