Özet: In this research, the phenotypic parameters of fattening characteristics were determined and the of heritabilities of these traits were estimated in the Ile de France (IF) x Akkaraman (AK) (G1) crossbreed male lambs. It was estimated that the widest genetic variation was daily live weight gain between the beginning of fattening and the 42nd and 56th day. It was concluded that the selection based on the daily live weight gain of the progenies to increase the meat yield in the IF X AK (G1) sheep can be successful.
