Özet: In this research, Sudan-Türkiye relations and the importance of Sudan for Türkiye are analiysed within the scope of the recent conflicts. Sudan has affluent underground resources. It is a country where get together with the White and Mali Nile. Therefore, it has fertile agricultural lands. Rich water resources are of great importance for Africa, especially with the progression of the climate crisis. In addition to this, it has a strategic position to reach the Red Sea. Sudan gained its independence from the former colonial state of England in 1956. However, the policy of “divide and rule” has been the basis for the continuation of internal turmoil until today. In the research, first of all, general information about Sudan was given. Sudan's internal structure, tribes, natural resources, political formation, influential figures in society, structures involved in the conflict are indicated. Finally, the importance of Sudan for Türkiye was mentioned.
