Özet: Today, business and transaction processes in institutions are realized with information management systems that use innovative information technologies in electronic environments. In this context, applications affecting information management systems such as information management and information security, big data, robotics process automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies have been among the priorities of institutions and government. Archives have become prominent in every period of history as a symbol of independence of states and societies. In the information age, nations and states need archives more than ever before. Archives are evolving with developing technology and a change and transformation is experienced. Managing this change and transformation well is not only a responsibility but a necessity. If we want to carry the past and the present into the world of the future, we have to structure our archives in accordance with today's conditions and move them to the future. We have to apply developments such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic process automation, quantum technologies to records management and archive processes. Because humanity is now governed through information systems, the main element/phenomenon of these systems is data, information and records. Government agencies need to use innovative technologies and develop ‘Enterprise e-Archive Data Centers’ to manage their data and information in more secure environments. In this context, ‘National e-Archive Information System and National Archive Data Center’ should be configured. Records management and archiving is not a profession that will vanish naturally, but it can disappear in the form of outdated. Then we have to transform this field, the profession, and bring a new dimension.
