Özet: This study deals with the changes occurring in the elements of the city identity in the Antakya Uzun Çarşı region over time, and the effects of globalization and urban interventions (planning) on this change through functions. Study "How to Change the Identity of a City over Traditional Bazaars?" Based on the question was carried out. In the study where factors affecting the change of urban identity were determined as globalization and planning - urban interventions, the literature review, field study and face-to-face interviews were used to examine the functional change between 1930 and 2015. Data transferred to the Geographic Information System was used for spatial comparisons for function change. As a result of the study, it has been evaluated that the consumption culture and planning have changed along with globalization on the functional change in the traditional bazaar.
