Özet: The aim of this article is to evaluate the zero-waste management (ZWM), which has recently come to the force in Turkey, through a university campus and to reveal scientific findings about how effectively it can be implemented from the date of mandatory transition. In this context, it has been tried to analyze the extent of awareness and adoption by applying a questionnaire to academic-staff, administrative-staff and students on ZWM at Marmara University Anadoluhisarı Campus scale. A questionnaire was applied to 300 students, 38 academic staff and 54 administrative-cleaning-security personnel. The questions were evaluated by considering the demographic information of the participants (gender, age, position/position, education, unit and marital status). As a result of the analysis, the participants do not have enough information about ZWM, those who have information are mostly get via internet and TV/public spot, training and incentives are important for the adoption, ZWM should be undertaken by the state and not reflect the public financially in practices such as taxes and determined that ZWM has an effect on voting behavior, even if it is a certain segment. It is thought that the results obtained will be a guide for decision makers and practitioners to adopt ZWM more effectively.
