Özet: In this study, Ankara's famous Nereid Statues journey in time and aims to examine the positions of city culture. In the first study, statues subtracting a brief history of, with the proclamation of the Republic, which is the capital, Ankara spend eighty-five-year period were examined; secondly, the statues of Anka-ra, of Identity, social and spatial tissue locations were mentioned. Finally, these statues, the city of Anka-ra focused on the reasons for deleting memory.
