Özet: This article discusses the connection between art and the city on a theoretical basis by the concepts of resistance and revolt. This article, starting with the Gezi occupation, opens with the siege of the police in the park. An urban experience of POMI (Postar: Studio for Potential Architecture) during the resistance followed by another urban/architectural workshop experience in Germany is undertaken; afterwards, Agamben’s concept of dispositive is argued. Revolting city is first discussed on the basis of urban and architectural positions; particularly the Gezi resistance is assessed. The subject of revolt is interpreted within the framework of Scott readings by the biopolitics/infrapolitics duality. In the concluding episode, six propositions are put forth about the common denominator of art and resistance with freedom, controversy and creativity.
