Özet: Urbanization processes affect the political context of modernization experience through concepts such as freedom and citizenship. The transformation and monotype of the town environment also carries the transformation of the environment to the area of identity. The town area which might also be marked as the environment of the nation state is unavoidable to be the focus of the political hegemony. The construction of the town environment also contributes to the visibility of the political hegemony as a result of the state to intervene with tools such as housing policies. To the degree that town is an area of identity, urban area gives the chance to the reproduction of the ideal citizens of the nation state and houses differing identities and political and social movements. Therefore, on behalf of both reading correctly the political hegemony of the government and understanding the alternative political and opponent identities, it is important to discuss the relationship between town, environment and politics.
