Özet: This paper “50th year of the Labor agreement signed between Turkey and Austria” investigates the situation of Turkish immigrants who first went to Austria half a century ago. They have stayed in Austria and become productive members of their communities. This paper focused on issues of the following topics: assimilation and integration of immigrants; the impact of the identity question; the participation in Austrian civil society; language learning against discrimination. As a result, projections for the future were shared.
