Özet: This study aims to identify emotions and ideas of 50 gifted students whose ages are between 8 and 14 and who study at SAMSUN Science and Art Center for the city of their imaginations by designs. At the first stage, model materials were supplied for the students taking part in this study to convey the city of their imaginations. At the second stage, the students were requested to tell the cities which they had designed. At the last stage, some evaulations were carried out on design the city models and it was referred that children’s opinions also should be considered into city designs. Consequently, to make children visible in all factors about social life is directly related to have a voice where they live. Nowadays applications that meet expectations and interests of children have become important while landscape are performed at urban spaces, buildings, school gardens, open green field, playgrounds etc.
