Özet: It is understood from the records of these states and the Ottoman Empire's intelligence records that Sheikh Ahmad Senussi was closely watched by European states from the moment he was elected head of the Senusiyya sect. For Sheikh Ahmad Senussi was a danger to them as a leader who advised to die on the path of Allah and unity against the enemies of Islam. Sheikh Ahmad Senussi is seen not only by the secret intelligence of the states, but also by the public through the press. Especially in the period that is often found in Turkey it has been the subject of news. In this study, English newspapers published in countries such as America, England, Australia, Scotland, New Zealand, including news about Sheikh Ahmed Senusi will be discussed. As a result, it will be tried to determine whether these news are true, what purpose it is made for, and whether there is any perception management in the public with these news.
