Özet: The concept of Soft Power, which emerged in the context of international relations after the end of the Cold War in the 1990s, directs the world as a versatile means of influence and influenced in terms of the components that make up itself. The impact of the globalization cycle, which has been progressing at a dizzying pace for the last 20 years, on information technologies and visual media networks has rapidly changed the whole world and continues to change. Especially social media channels create an electronic world order that can bring all humanity together. historical accumulation owned by the Republic of Turkey, socio-cultural, geopolitical and geostrategic position, being civilization state, geographical characteristics and tourism power as factors because all four sides of the geographical position is known even to have the power to affect too far in. That power since the beginning of the 2000s in Turkey increased exponentially based on changing government policy and has developed into an important center of power appeared in the World. This transformation of the Turkish part of the process should also emerged even stronger power of social media channels as well as movies / series with the effect of both Turkish culture sector has become an element of state power as well as Turkish Turkey. In this study, the current state of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language, which is rapidly advancing towards becoming an official state policy, and what kind of Soft Power element it is, is examined and evaluated.
