Özet: When Turkey's Republic an era architectural history is concerned, the canon of historiography industrial heritage may have numbered among the undisputed place with building complex "Sugar Factories" in particular. The reason for this factory settlements of the effects on urban and social life of the modernization process is considered as a complex that is transferred over a strong industrialization program. The society have faced for the first time new spatial arrangements emerges such as workers' houses and social facilities which are located in this complex. Founded in 1926 in Trakya Region, Alpullu Sugar Factory also draws attention to the production and housing and social-purpose facility which in addition to the administrative structure. In this article, during the first years of the young Republic of Turkey, the country's first sugar was built in the factory and recent history up to our function continued its Alpullu sugar mills, in particular architectural qualities of the workers' housing and social facilities, urban relations and contribute to our housing culture are discussed. In this sense, the early Republican period architecture and history, which is a component of our industrial heritage buildings located on an active role in the field of Alpullu Sugar Factory premises in the city's physical development proposals will be assessed individually examined.
