Özet: In this paper, ZnCr/C-layered double hydroxide (LDH) photocatalyst was successfully prepared using a co-precipitation method. A set of characterization both physicochemical and optical including XRD, SEM, EDS, FT-IR, TGA and Band gap determination. The photocatalytic application was evaluated by the removal of MB UV-light irradiation. Moreover, the influences of pH, photocatalyst dosage, and initial MB concentration were also explored in this system. When the photocatalyst dosage was 80mg and the initial MB concentration was 3ppm, MB removal efficiency was as high as 95.0% within 60 min under UV-light irradiation. After four cycles, the newly designed photocatalyst showed good stability and recyclability.
